YouTube rolled out a new Update with few Tweaks.Seems like Google YouTube is working hard on their app to make it more impressive as earlier this week, they tweaked the vertical videos and are also implementing 360 degrees video ads.
Now in this new update they have totally changed the layout to go with a new tab based interface. So there will be no side swipe menu, but instead three main menus at the top which users can slide between. The first is home or recommended videos, the second is the subscriptions one, and last is user’s YouTube channel/account.
The update also brings couple of tweaks, as well as a new feature – video editor. This feature will allow users to add music (from YouTube’s royalty free library) to their own clips they upload, crop them, and add a number of visual filters provide to them by the app itself.
On their official blog YouTube published:
- Home: Easily explore and discover videos you’ll love with recommendations based on your watch history as well as playlists personalized just for you.
- Subscriptions: Find the latest videos from your favorite channels and creators on the new Subscriptions tab. And to help make sure you never miss an upload, you can now tap the bell icon on the channels you love to get a notification as soon as a new video is posted.
- Account: Check out your playlists, watch history, and the videos you’ve uploaded all in one spot.
Don’t delay, update your YouTube app and enjoy these new features.
