Admit it, won’t it happen to you that you’re sitting on your workstation (PC/Lappy) and you remember you’ve to find direction for a place you never visited. After searching you head out for the location but in between you doubt whether you’re on correct route? Then again you search for the same location on your Android Smartphone and it becomes little irritating and time consuming too.
But hey! Now you can send directions from your PC/Lappy to your Android Devices just by a click as Google Maps makes it possible to send directions from PC to Android. This improvement is part of the latest Android update to Google Maps, which is version 9.11.0. After getting the update, just search for the destination in Google Maps on your PC/Lappy browser, once Google Maps locates your destination, the information window will include a “Send to device” option right below the address and hours. Click on it and a list of your devices will show up. Select your device of choice and you will get a notification with the option to navigate or get directions.
Tapping on the address pulls up the location in Google Maps without automatically loading up a route. You can do whatever you like from that point, including checking hours and pulling up an establishment’s website.
