The legendary budget handset has come a long way since the original came out in 2013 and the promises to pack even more Android goodness and productivity without breaking the bank. The names of the former is rumored to be the Motorola Moto X Sport and the new Motorola Moto G. The existence of these two models is allegedly confirmed from Chile’s largest telecom firm, Entel.
The device was leaked on FlipKart too, a popular Indian online retailer, this week. The company managed to remove the post pretty quickly, but not before Gadgetraid could snap a few screenshots.
As for the new Moto G, the phone may include a 5-inch screen, like the second-generation model. The next-gen Moto G will have a rear-facing 13MP camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. That compares to the 8MP/2MP camera combo on the current Moto G. Furthermore, the upcoming Moto G will apparently get a hike in the clock speed for the quad-core CPU to 1.4GHz from the quad-core 1.2GHz CPU on the second-generation Moto G.
According to the report, the devices are almost at the final stages of production and will probably launch next month. But of course we cannot be sure about Motorola’s performance, as this year the Chinese companies are ruling the budget segment but the users who look for a more stock Android experience will still go with the trusted brand.
