Google Nexus 5(2015)

Google Nexus 5(2015) is expected to release on September 29.

This Nexus 5 (2015) is developed by LG like the previous Nexus 5 was, which launched back in 2013. The LG Nexus 5(2015) is said to sport a 5.2″ screen, while Huawei is also manufacturing a Nexus device which is said to be a 5.7″ phablet. But it’s not confirmed whether both of the device will launch on the same day.

A list of specs for the Nexus 5(2015) was released by a Chinese website, here it ts:

  • 5.2-inch full HD 1080p P-OLED display
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 (MSM8976) processor
  • Up to 4 GB RAM
  • Up to 64 GB of internal storage
  • 3180 mAh non-removable battery
  • 802.11ac Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 4.2
  • Front stereo speakers
  • Rear power button with integrated fingerprint sensor
  • 13 MP rear camera
  • 4 MP front camera with iris detection
  • USB Type-C connector with QuickCharge 2.0

Also the device will feature matte plastic black cover with  a aluminum frame. Talking about its design, its quite different from previous devices in the LG series. Its like the new Nexus from LG is going to define what the next batch of LG phones will look like, possibilities are there.

It appears as though the Nexus 5 (2015) will have a fingerprint scanner below a camera sensor on the back, with the camera flash and what looks like a laser-auto focus beside them. It also appears to have a USB Type-C port on the bottom, front-facing speakers and a matte rear.

LG’s Nexus is almost guaranteed to follow all previous Google-family devices in packing stock Android, in the form of the latest Marshmallow iteration. Given that we have no firm consumer release date for the 6.0 iteration of Google’s global mobile UI, it may be that the Californian company is eyeing-up a dual-launch of some form – only time will tell.

Also the leaks suggest that the new Nexus from LG will not have a price as high those of  Motorola Nexus 6.
