A local service provider app in INDIA whose services are currently available in Delhi\NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore.

Urbanclap App launched in 2014  is developed by Khaitan, Abhiraj Bhal, and Raghav Chandra, they all of live in US. The app is designed to create a substantial tech-business by deciphering the needs of consumers in India. They claim of having  1,000 service providers currently with them. Recently in a new update they rolled out chat feature by which users can have chat with professionals in real time & can also hire the professional they like the most.

This app takes only 4.37MB of your memory as mentioned by the developers on their description page however after installing the size went from 4.37MB to 17.94MB which is little astonishing but understandable.

Now the developers has mentioned that their app will provide with services like: Home services which includes electricians, plumbers etc. also they promised of services including photographers, DJ’s for parties and many more.

App Review

Now I explored the apps for atleast 10-15 mins and it gave me a whole idea about how effective the app is. As soon i opened the app it gave a short description of how the app work. Thereafter  it asked for the city and then it showed the services for the city selected. There were many services like special offers, events and weddings etc. Also you can swipe to view the projects (if you have made any request for the same), chats (it requires login, either you can login with your FB account or you can signup for the app for which it’ll ask for your email id and contact no., you’ll recieve a conformation code and done! you’re registered now.) and there is a favourite section also where you can keep service providers you loved a lot and want to call them again so this section will provide you a quick access.

Here’s an example of how you can book  a service:

Overall app is good, few more updates will make it up to the mark.
